Australia, Culture

The cultural traditions of the Aboriginals are complex: religion, history, law and art are based on  elaborate ceremonies.

During the ceremony, the aboriginals use a totem, each person has a totem(caterpillar, snake, fish or magpie) and a song (to describe the environment).

The majority of the Aboriginals speak the Australian language or a "creolized" English : the kriol. They  preserved a cultural link with the environment, natural medicines and food.

The Australian food had bad reputation in the past, but it got better today. Melbourne is the gastronomy capital. ( samosas with the tail of braised kangaroo, pie of émeu, smoked game with eucalyptus and ices with seeds of acacia).

Language: Australian English.
